Listen in this week as we discuss The Devil All the Time by Donald Ray Pollock, Running the Dream by Matt Fitzsgerald, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, and Finding Ultra by Rich Roll. We also discuss long distance running, including a few that would be the ultimate test in mental fortitude, training plans, and mental health, particularly as it pertains to running. Tyler can be found on Instagram, Twitter, or on his blog. Please also consider supporting Bigger Than The Trail, which can be found on Instagram or on the web. Don't forget to subscribe to and rate the podcast! We don't really know the point of this other than to make us feel good...but we think it helps other people find us! Also don't forget to follow us on Instagram! Website coming soon!

I’ve grown to know the Bourbon Bookshelf boys through Instagram and had a great time chatting with them! Hopefully an opportunity will arise for us all to get together in person and record another.

Mental Kilter was an online support community that focused on using physical fitness to help combat addiction and mental illness. I had been a part of the community for several years. Unfortunately the community outgrew it’s capacity, and the creator no longer had the ability to support it. Regardless, I loved the mission and support from others navigating similar waters.

I wrote a testimony for them in 2017. It is no longer available on the original site, but can be found reproduced here.
